Youth

Converge is the youth ministry of East River Church in Bluefield, VA. Every Wednesday we gather together for worship and a relevant message geared towards high school age students. We desire to equip students spiritually to live life to the fullest so they can impact the world around them.

MISSION: Converge is passionate about seeing God become famous in the lives of our students, and together–as one–we live our lives for the cause of Christ!

VISION STATEMENT: Our vision is to let the youth of our community know that they matter and to provide them with a space where they are welcomed, heard, and accepted into a spiritual family that will not judge them. But more than anything we hope to encourage them to build a greater personal relationship with Jesus and help connect them to His cause and His church.

“Fine Arts Festival is designed to help students discover, develop and deploy their ministry gifts. Those awarded with “Superior with Invitation” are invited to participate in the National Fine Arts festival.

The 2012 District Fine Arts will be held at Calvary A/G in Beckley, WV- April 14th!

“Via Dolorosa” is a Speed-the-Light evangelism event that will impact your life!  The mission is to carry crosses on a 10 mile walk over a period of 2 days on Easter weekend. This will take place throughout downtown and the city of Bluefield as we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and raise money for missionaries around the world!”
